Scott's Story

Life I am fortunate to have had a number of really fun jobs as well as some that are, frankly, not worth discussing. Mostly, I made my living as a musician over the years first playing Classical Guitar and Trombone, and then for the most part as a Bassist performing in shows, on jingles, on stage, under the stage, backing singers; the usual freelance-anything-that-pays-sort-of-gigs. In amongst all of that I wrote, arranged, taught and copied music. I also had about a gazillion other jobs which included various gigs in the food service industry, retail sales, and a career designing and building custom furniture. Nowadays, I design and build all sorts of interior things (wooden & otherwis...Expand for more
e) in virtual space. My most recent jobs include designing and "facilitating" luxury store fixturing, mostly for the high-end women's clothing design industry. I also have a digital recording studio in my apartment and score films and compose other music when I get the inspiration (or a few dollars comes my way). I still play various gigs and would jump at the chance to do it again full-time, but only if I can get someone else to carry my gear! My latest passion is playing soccer, the love of which was rekindled by my daughter whose passion for the game seems boundless. I'm out on the pitch playing and coaching every opportunity I get. Good for the weight, not so good for the knees!
